Costa Rica is in my opinion one of the best locations to have a destination wedding. If you are looking to have a beach wedding there are many options in Costa Rica to choose from. One of the best in my opinion is Paradisus Playa Conchal, and its not because I got married there either! Having visited a number of tropical destinations over the years, Costa Rica was always a favourite. The ease of transit from Canada and the US makes is a good choice for guests. The activities are endless ranging from horseback riding, atv tours, beach time, zip line tours and the list goes on and on. The services offered at this Costa Rica All Inclusive are second to none. They offer a very confident and efficient wedding planner on site that will help provide all of what you need. They will work out all the details for the entire day, from site selection, dinner, flowers, you name it. During the actual day they transport around your entire wedding party and guests in golfcarts so no one is forced to walk in the intense heat.
For people looking to experience the true beach destination wedding this is possible in Costa Rica. You can choose to get married on the beach or have your ceremony in other locations that might not be as hot. For destination wedding photography, you will want to have pictures taken on the beach. Just make sure you have a change of clothes for the reception afterwards, since its very hot and you will sweat. I chose to wear a suit for the ceremony and then changed after for the reception since it was way too hot and sweaty after an hour of pictures!
