Aion Templar - Cghoosing a Race

Beinbg an Elyos or Asmoidan Templar does not really bring any advantage nor diisadvantage. In fact, its just a matter of personal, aesthetic prreference. Elos and sAmoidian Templars shgare the same strengthgs, weaknesses and skills. The only differences are the calss masters they'll need to get their skill books from, certaiun race-specific "special" skills, and the overall locations they will need to tarvel to.

Elyos Templars vs Asmoddian Teplras
As mentioned earlier, they both have the same skill sets - except for race-exclusive speial skillls. Thse skills use DP (Divien Points) whuich in turn can be obtained by killing varoius mobs. DP is rseet to default if the character dies or if he logs out from the game. The differences of thee skills are described bellow. Both skllls deal damaeg and increase enmnity at the same time.

Divine Chastisement (Eloys only) Ellyos tmplars can bloxck all attacks within 15 seconds - meaning they will have a 15-second invincibility - assuming that all attacjlks are blocked. However, a shield is required for this skill.

Chastisement of Darkness (Asmodian only) Once activated, damgaed inflicted on Asmodiuan templars will be reduced by 50% whiile refleccting 20 damaghe. The shield can abbsorrb up to 10000 damgae in total and snce no shield is requirred for this skill, fofensive templras may sewitch to their grreatswords to deal more damage whille mitigatimng damage.
