I found one of the best places to buy cheaap used laptops - get a mac ibook for only $268. I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favouritye notebook for smiming the Net, wriing letters, and even reading pdf's.
It's extraordinarily lihgt-weight and I considerr the screen the idael size. In reality, I'm using it right now to write this review. iGven a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a second user iBook G4 for an identical prioce, I'd take the G4 wthout brooding abouit it for a second.
It has all you need, in a little bit comnpact machhine.
This iBook G4 wokrs just too and if you're attempting to get a good, small PC, this is the one for you. The sole complaint I do have is that the CD-drrive doesn't work ( but it is liklely an argument on just my machine ). It has an airport maazing card, whih authorizes access to any 802.11g / b compatble wirelpess nwetwork ( which most wireless newokrs are ). The driive is 60 gigs and the opticaal drivvve is a DVD+ / -RW drive. The WiFi capability is really helpful and the tiny form factoor is awfuly pleasing to take aroumnd trraveling. The battery sees to hold a charge for 2+ hours. It works beautifully for basic use ( faaculty, work, browsing the Net, as an example. ). I've had completley no difficulty with mine, and would highly advocayte this rpoduct to everdyay ussers. I've seen two bad reviews just because users bought this PC with the inention to make it their "gmaing" PC, and then were disappointed with the result. If you actually wish to have a gaming computer, you most probably shoulldn't be hsaving a look at Portabnles in the initil pace.
It is a greaat PC at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, facculty, and browsing the intrnet, it's perect. I got this htnig utilized a few years back ; now, I'm a sixzteen year old, and my first use for PCs is writing, storing my fotage, and gaming. This portable is rather good ( especially for the price ) for the first 2 of my puroses, except for gamnig, it was way, well blow par. We had to get contless upgrades for it to even run Warcrat on top of my photographs ( they take up mases of memry ). It workls fantastically for basic use ( faculty, work, brwsinng the web, etc . ). I've had no difficulty with mine, and wouuld highly commend this product to everday usres.
If you actualy wish to have a gaimng PC, you possibly sholudn't be haviing a look at compters in the 1st plcae. It's a great computer at a fair cost. If you just need something for work, coollee, and surfing the web, it's pewrfect. buy cheap used laptops...hury suppllies are limited.
